Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution
The Litigation Team is led by Avv. Piero Alosi as is divided into groups of professionals specialising in four main areas:
1. Medical Malpractice and Product Liability: the Firm advises individuals and companies in Litigation cases, from the very beginning to the possible final judgement before the Italian Supreme Court, where our senior litigators are permitted to practice.
2. Family Law (Divorces, Adoptions, Child Custody and Contested Probates);
3. Employment and Social Security Litigation: the Firm provides meticulous legal services in resolving the anomalies in employment contracts, and deals with disputes between employers and an employees in relation to employment law as well as legal claims against Social Security and Welfare Services. In particular, the Employment Litigators focus their attention on following areas:
a) Labour relations management;
b) Secondment and flexibility measures;
c) Individual and collective dismissals;
d) Labour indemnity and salaries;
e) Workplace Safety;
f) Moral and non-monetary damages and emotional abuse in the workplace (bullying, demotion, damage to professional reputation).
Our professionals are committed to working out the best solutions and keeping up-to-date to the latest reforms to Italian Law. Recently, a radical reform of the labour market was passed, aiming at reducing the unemployment rate and assuring young people prompt access to the labour market, as well as attracting foreign companies to Italy with reduced labour costs. Our professionals have already dealt with employment contracts under the new employment statute.
Our professionals have acquired considerable experience in the field of Civil and Commercial Arbitration, both in Italy and Internationally, mostly representing companies in arbitration proceedings, for both the variants of Italian arbitration proceedings, ordinary (rituale) and negotiated (irrituale), as well as administered or ad hoc international arbitration. Our corporate professionals are also qualified arbitrators, and sit in national and international arbitration panels.
